Tales of Swinish McTavish
Hey, have you guys solved the riddle of the Sphinx yet? Me, I've been laying out by the river reading old Donald Duck comics. BTW, if you don't know about this blog's obsession with Wyatt Earp, I refer you to Patrushka Shoots Wyatt Earp

It's about time you resurface Senor Pig. Tensions are running higher out here than usual. Patience is at an all-time low and humor has gone the way of the carrier pigeon.
What I find interesting about Coloma, where Wyatt's and Josie's ashes are interred, is that the town really is a city of the dead, founded in 1901 when San Francisco outlawed burial grounds in the city. Coloma has 17 burial grounds and 5 more are nearby, boasting a total population of well over 1.5 million people, while the "live" population is well under 2,000.
Did you find a house there to settle into? I'm sure it's a quiet town.
As far as Donald Duck comics go, I have a copy of my son Jake's "Once and Future Duck" from 1996 or so. Not as good as some of the old classics, but an excellent new era publication.
I don't mind Donald Duck. I like it best when he gets mad and has his little tantrums! I don't like his nephews...
"SWINISH" is a grand word indeed. Very descriptive really.
Are you talking Tombstone AZ? Shoot. You guys are out there. Leo told me Wetstone or Sierra Vista. I lived in Bowie with my fiorst wife from like 1971 til we divorced in 75. Thats like nextdoor to Tombstone.
I dont remember any Clantons living out there any then but I remember a lady named Grace MacCool who wrote books about the 1880s and stuff. She was like 80 then. She said her great uncle was Zeke Clanton but she wasn't sure. But she was born and grew up out there. I'll find her book and send some copies your way or email them to the Pig.
