Spring Comes To California

My nice little photographic retrospective of our seasons in Rhode Island was interrupted, first by me yesterday on an irresistible side trip about how angels sing swing like the King Sisters, and now because in fact Patrushka rushed off to California to take care of her mother just when spring was springing. So today - spring on the central coast of the Golden State.

Top notch, as usual! I thought of mom several times today. Meera and I were walking on Narragansett Beach in this gorgeous weather and the sand looked like silver glitter and there were all kinds of photographic opportunities- the sand flats with pools of water, a big old dead crab, a little kid getting his feet wet, lovesick teenagers. Hmm, I'm not sure I'd really want a picture of the lovesick teenagers. But you know what I mean.

Curious how, when you post pleasant images that people enjoy, the restlessness dies down some? The hoi polloi does not rear its' ugly head and the comments are happy and friendly.

I got it! Maybe we're learning to ponder?
