An Autumn on the Coast of Rhode Island

Our time here is coming to an end and soon we'll be on the road once more. Here's a little retrospective of the place we lived in the seasons that we lived here...
Today...autumn.

September, Trustom Pond

October, Green Hill Beach

November, Fisherville Audubon Refuge

It is hard to move from beauty. We lived on the West Coast of Canada, and it was so beautiful. The challenge and joy has been to look for beauty here in the prairies...

...and we have found beauty here! Mother Nature doesn't wear sexy dresses like she does on the West Coast, all flash and provocation; but rather hides her beauty in little ravines or lofty clouds or tiny wee birds painted the colour of the sky.

I hope you find much beauty wherever it is you are going!

Those sure are some beautiful photos - I especially love the Trustom Pond pic. It's wonderful that you both were able to spend time where you could enjoy the autumn in all it's glory, that's what I've always missed about where I spent my childhood (St. Louis)...again, thanks for sharing some of Patrushka's awesome photos =)

Lovely images. I always loved the east coast. Love the west coast too. Love the Gulf of Mexico coast and the Sea of Cortez coast. When you were born where it's flat and cold and non-descript and then live in mountains in the desert, coastlines and costal communities are a welcome site. They've always seemed more peaceful to me.
