Interim Report

Sorry to say, I haven't touched the story in nearly a week. I've reached the point where I just have to do some background reading and research to prepare the way for the story's next phase. I wish I could tell you about it because it is most fascinating. But that would be giving the story away.

A new name: The Syndicate of Eternal Friendship. I started out in a meandering way to tell the story of Walrus Pemmican, but Sylvie and Paul quickly horned in on the deal and now I care about them just as much as I do Walrus and I hope you do too. So that's what I'm calling it. They'd better stick together or I'm in big trouble. I wonder if they will.

I'm going to leave the Walrus name up for a while since the new one won't fit in the sidebar very well.

Hi Ponderer,

I was wondering what is the thought behind the words ”The Syndicate of Eternal Friendship”? Does it refer to the whole household at 1736 Page Street, or just to Walrus, Sylvia and Paulie?

And why is it called a syndicate? “The Circle of Eternal Friendship” would sound more friendly (at least towards outsiders!). Just wondering.
