More KIG News
Yet another new Kiva Investment Group member today: Jenny, a nurse. In the spirit of full disclosure - I must reveal she is one of my great kids! Welcome, Jenny. Jen is home waiting out the final weeks before her due date. So she may be too busy for a while to attend KIG meetings. Patrushka and I will be heading for the east coast in April to help out. How do you change a diaper, anyway? Also, Julia checked in to say she has added, among other countries, the Democratic Republic of Congo, new for the group.
Country Hunters: Keep your eye out for Mongolia. It's supposed to be coming online anytime now.

Well, folks. It seems this little clam bake has begun to take off. What started as a modest proposal on the part of Mr. Pig has burgeoned into a real movement. Frankly, I am impressed. If we keep this up, I think a real KIVA Investment Group meeting is called for. Can Portleys handle all of us?
Better yet, can Spokane handle all of us at the same time?
I am so excited about Mongolia. When I was a kid, I did lots of research on Mongolia because that's where gerbils come from.
I'm ready to start bidding on those Mongolian loans!
Good to hear the news regarding Jen's joining KIVA. She is a thoughtful lady.
But here she is two weeks prior to her due date, you say - and this is the first news I've heard about this happening. Guess I'm a little out of touch these days.
Thanks for the official welcome. What a surprise to see my photo and a pre-preg photo at that!I've been encouraging Soli to get involved.

Could someone please give me some info on your "KIG?" I currently loan through Kiva under my son's image: Clay from Chattanooga. I will check back for a response.
Hi Clay from Chattanooga, - May I suggest you click on the 'Kiva Investment Group' label at the bottom of this post? It will pull up all the posts at The Pondering Pig on the subject. Scan through them and hopefully, you'll get a feeling for who we are and what we are doing.
You can add our portfolio to the list of KIG investors.
I primarily focus on Latin and South America. But I am also interested in Africa and Eastern Europe.
