Famous Bloggers Join KIVA Investment Group
The famous Canadian blogging couple, Paula and Spoke announced today they have joined the Pondering Pig's Kiva Investment Group. Said spokesperson Spoke: "What an honor to be able to participate in something so selfless! Kiva lets you lend money to a specific entreprenuer in the developing world, empowering them to lift themselves out of poverty. And 100% of your loan goes directly to the person! We gotta talk Pig. As soon as the spring thaw comes, I'm grabbin' my bindle and hitting the rails pointing South...
I've got three loans out right now and one has already has started making payments. In my book, Kiva is a very good thing.
Yeah, c'mon down, Spoke. You can have one of my cigars to chomp. And bring the missus. Belladonna, you come too. We'll have a big bloggers conference, hunt for lost treasure in the mountains and chomp on cigars. No lighting allowed.
...and I'll come and rattle my jewels. Ha ha!!
