Wilds of New Jersey
Sorry, I've been too busy exploring the wilds of New Jersey to think deep thoughts today. Who can ponder anything except how to get back to the car before dark when you're on an expedition through the wild Kittatinny Mountains in a January snowstorm? (Wha, did you think I meant some club in Hoboken?)
Here is Catfish Pond today, January 2, 2006 along the the Rattlesnake Swamp Trail just before the snow started.

Looks wintery and peaceful. ~ Carol
Wonder if there is a bech around there to go sit, and watch it all day. Is there?
No benches, but with a bit of luck you might get one of the local beavers to gnaw down a tree for you to sit on. They're always looking for extra work.
