The Pondering Pig is off on his adventures for a week or so. He'll be back soon with entertaining stories to tell of the far-off places he has visited and interesting slops he found to eat, and hopefully, material for the next chapter of the unfolding epic adventures of The Syndicate of Eternal Friendship.

Pig wants everyone to know all is well and he thanks his four-pawed pal Jinx for valuable recitations and reminding readers of stuff that's none of their darned beeswax.
White Lightning. Blue Cheer. Sugar cubes laced with belladonna and speed when someone thought he was getting bungalowbill and marshmallows. Even that time in '47. Pig told me that was before he got his pet dachshund on a string. Anyway, Pig is home safe and preparing a report on his travels.

I've heard a rumor from a trusted source that the pondering pig is back and shut up in his study, pounding away at his typewriter. Hurray!
Yes, PP is home again. I found piles of his mud-encrusted trousers in the clothes hamper this morning, along with a disgusting-looking remnant of a bagel (how did he miss that?) and crumbs of trail mix and cheerios in his knapsack. He's holed up in his pig sty now; I can hear the wild tap-tap-tap on the keyboard, punctuated with gleeful "A-ha!"s and hooting snorts of laughter. He loves his own jokes, as you know! He'll be posting soon, you can be sure of that!
